Background
Farzuan is a 4-star Anemo character from the region of Sumeru. She was once a famous professor of Sumeru Akademiya, but was trapped in a puzzle mechanism for a century before she escaped the ruins. As a professor, Faruzan focused on machinery and language. Despite looking young, Faruzan tends to demand respect from her peers due to being their senior. Oftentimes. many of her peers believe her thinking is outdated. She has not currently been introduced to the story of the game.
Faruzan Skill Talents
Faruzan is an Anemo support character with the ability that can buff the Anemo DMG of her teammate while debuffing the Anemo resistance of enemies. This can be done through the use of her elemental burst.
Her normal attack, Parthian Shot, performs up to 4 shots with her bow, with the 4th dealing the most damage. Her charged attack will deal Anemo DMG to the enemy. When her elemental skill is in effect, Faruzan’s charged attack will become a Hurricane Arrow. This will be the main use of her normal attack as a support character.
Faruzan’s elemental skill, Wind Realm of Nasamjnin, deals an initial blast of Anemo damage to nearby enemies. Faruzan will then go into the Manifest Gale state, allowing her next charged/ aim shot attack to transform into a Hurricane arrow. The aimed shot is considered charged attack damage. When unleashed toward the enemy, the Hurricane arrow will apply the Pressurized Collapse. This effect creates a vortex to pull in enemies and deal Anemo DMG to them. This is considered elemental skill damage. If no enemies are hit, it will instead create a vortex at the point of contact. Faruzan’s elemental skill works as crowd control, but its ultimate use will be paired with her ascension 1 talent that decreases her charge time and debuffs the enemies’ Anemo resistance when they are hit by Pressurized Collapse. The Manifest Gale state lasts for 18 seconds, and her skill cooldown is 6 seconds. This allows her to effectively fire off her elemental skill.
Her elemental burst, The Wind’s Secret Ways, creates a Dazzling Polyhedron to summon a Whirlwind Pulse and deal Anemo DMG to enemies for 12 seconds. The Dazzling Polyhedron will go in a triangular path and deal a burst of Anemo DMG to enemies at each point. It will then deal 1 more blast when it has reached the corner of its triangular path. The Whirlwind Pulse will have two effects. The Perfidious Wind’s Bale for 4 seconds will be applied to nearby enemies when the pulse is unleashed to decrease their Anemo resistance. It will also apply the Prayerful Wind’s Benefit for 4 seconds to buff nearby party members to boost their Anemo DMG. This burst is great for Anemo DPS characters to decrease the enemies’ defenses while buffing their own damage. It does come with a high burst cost of 80 energy and 20 seconds to cooldown.
In co-op, Faruzan will be used to support other Anemo characters, but can also work to buff her own Anemo DMG.
Faruzan Passive Talents
Faruzan’s ascension talents provide debuffs to enemies while increasing the Anemo DMG of her team. Her passive talent allows her to collect more expedition rewards in Sumeru.
Faruzan’s passive talent, Tomes Light the Path, allows her to gain increased rewards when she is sent on 20-hour expeditions in Sumeru. This is great for increasing your overall reward from expeditions.
Her ascension 1 talent, Impetuous Flow, decreases the charging time of her charged shot when under the effects of her elemental skill. Enemies hit by her elemental skill vortex will also be affected by her elemental burst effect to decrease their Anemo resistance. This talent increases the Anemo DMG dealt to enemies and is another way to apply the debuff to enemies besides her burst.
At ascension 4. Lost Wisdom of the Seven Caverns, characters who use their talent on enemies, affected by Faruzan’s burst, and deal damage, they will gain the Hurricane Guard effect. This effect will increase the damage dealt by characters based on a portion of Faruzan’s max attack stat. It will occur every .8 seconds and be cleared once her elemental burst effect is gone.
Faruzan gets an ATK bonus based on her ascension rank.

Faruzan Constellations
Faruzan’s cancellation provides a variety of buffs from energy restoration to extending her burst duration. Her C6 is her most powerful constellation, with the ability to increase the Anemo Crit DMG of her team.
At C1: Truth by Any Means, Faruzan gains the ability to fire 2 Hurricane arrows instead of 1 for her elemental skill, allowing her to mark more enemies with her debuff.
C2: Overzealous Intellect raises the elemental burst effect duration is increased by 6 seconds, enabling her burst to stay on the field longer.
C4: Divine Comprehension restores energy o Faruzan when the pressurized collapse hits the enemy. The more enemies hit, the more energy is gained. The max is 4 energy restored. This constellation is great to help offset the high energy cost of Faruzan’s burst
C6: The Wondrous Path of Truth allows Faruzan to buff Anemo Crit DMG of characters affected by her buff and they will also deal Pressurized Collapse to the enemies hit by their attacks. This talent is great to increase the raw damage of Anemo characters.

Recommended Builds
Support Build
Faruzan is an Anemo support character with the ability to buff Anemo DMG and debuff Anemo resistance to enemies through the use of her burst. For this support build you will want to build up her burst, followed by her skill. Her normal attack is less important as she will only be using her charged attack when her elemental skill is in effect. Focus on also raising her energy recharge as her burst does have a high energy requirement.
For her teammates, your Main DPS should be an Anemo character like Wanderer who will excel with the increased damage output to enemies and can enjoy the benefits of Faruzan’s kit. Fischl can help generate energy particles while also attacking passively with Oz and dealing Electro DMG to enemies. Bennett will be in charge of healing and further buffing the ATK of the team. A shield creator like Diona or Zhongli will also be helpful if you are using Wanderer.
Faruzan’s recommended 5-star weapon is the Elegy for the End. This weapon has a passive in ER and can buff Elemental Mastery and ATK of the team by collecting sigil. As a support, she won’t fully benefit from other 5-star bows, unless you plan to boost her overall damage as well.
For 4-star weapons, the Favonius Warbow is your best bet due to its ER passive and ability to generate energy for the team when she lands a critical hit. Other viable options are Sacrificial Bow, Twilight, End of the Line, or The Stingless for extra burst damage. Faruzan does have a short cooldown for her elemental skill, so you won’t always need to rely on the passive skill of the Sacrificial Bow. For the weapons, Energy Recharge will be an important factor to consider. Currently, no 3-star bow will work for a support build, but any will do to mainly boost her damage.
Faruzan has a variety of options for her artifact set. If you need extra Anemo DMG and Energy Recharge, then opt for a 2-pice Emblem of Severed Fate and Viridescent Venerer. For increased Swirl DMG and extra elemental debuff on the enemy, then use the Viridescent Venerer. A third option is the 4-piece Noblesse Oblige to grant extra burst damage and buffing the attack of allies when Faruzan unleashes her elemental burst. In the early game, The Exile is the best option to generate energy for the team.
Artifact stats for Faruzan:
- Sands: Energy Recharge
- Goblet: Anemo DMG
- Circlet: CRIT Rate or / CRIT DMG
As her burst has a high cost, you will want 200% or more energy to effectively maximize its uptime. Other important stats are Crit Rate, Crit DMG, ATK%, and EM.
Swirl Build
This build empowers the Swirl reaction with the Viridescent Set and is the same as the first build in terms of weapon and talent priority. For her teammates, you will still need an Anemo DPS like Xiao to benefit from the increased damage. Bennett will buff and heal the team, with Raiden Shogun proving energy recovery.
Artifact stats for Faruzan:

- Goblet: Anemo DMG
- Circlet: CRIT Rate or / CRIT DMG
ER is necessary for Faruzan to maintain her usefulness in battle. EM can also be built to boost Swirl damage.
Recommended Party Members
Wanderer benefits from the increase Anemo DMG.
Fischl’s elemental skill deals passive Electro DMG and can help recharge energy for the team
Bennett can heal and buff the attack of his team.
Xiao will also benefit from the increase Anemo DMG.
Raiden Shogun can help recharge energy for the team.

Conclusion
Faruzan is a powerful Anemo support character that works well in any Anemo team to increase their damage and debuff the Anemo defenses of enemies. Her burst does require a lot of energy, but if you can maximize its uptime she will be a great addition to your team.
